- I got this for free from a 70+ year old man who was selling the house he grew up in, and the old washer was still in the basement. He wanted someone to have it, and helped me get it out of the basement (there was also a wine-making set-up in the basement). Marked 1949 inside. The machine seems to be in near mint condition, and is an electric (vs. gas) powered model. But I have not tried it.
