The 'San Francisco' potbelly candlestick is sought after because it varies in several slight ways from WE's standard 1895 potbelly candlestick model - both in its outward markings and because it has no thumbscrew for its telscoping shaft. Some collectors speculate that it was made specially for Pacific Telephone for use in the San Francisco area.More
